National Assessment of Educational Progress
Pennington has been selected to represent schools across the nation by participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). First administered in 1969, NAEP is the largest nationally representative and continuing assessment of what students know and can do in various subject areas. It is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics, within the U.S. Department of Education. The results of NAEP are released as The Nation's Report Card, which provides information about student achievement to educators, parents, policymakers, and the public.

Philip Michael Pennington Designated 2014 School of Excellence

Once again, Pennington has achieved the School of Excellence Award, the highest recognition awarded to schools by the PWCS School Board. It signifies high levels of performance on state accreditation, Annual Measurable Objectives, and in moving toward the goals of the Division's Strategic Plan.

Parent  Volunteer Hours Notification is now ONLINE!

In order to improve communication and timeliness of reporting Parent Volunteer Hours, parents will now have access to our Quarterly Volunteer Hours Report ONLINE located at the left blue navigation button under Parent Volunteer Hours.  Click on the button and scroll down to your family's Parent Pick Up Number (not carpool or walker ID number). This new method takes the place of receiving hard copy volunteer hours notifications/updates by mail or in Friday folders.
